SENIOR GAMES & SILVERARTS
Senior Games - for the fun of it!
If you are like many seniors I have heard from, they hesitate to join the Senior Games because they feel they aren't athletic or coordinated enough and want to avoid potential embarrassment.
While it is true, we do conduct some 'athletic' events (Track and Field, Swimming, and Long distance running and walking), the majority of our activities are simple games designed for everyone to enjoy. Events like Bocce Ball, Cornhole, Shuffleboard, and Mini Golf to name a few are easy to play and focused entirely on getting a little exercise and having some fun! Besides the Games, there is a large array of Heritage, Visual, Literary and Performing Arts categories to show your talent in. We have something for everyone!
Trust me - you are never too old to play and it's never too late to create. Come and join us this year; you will be glad you gave it a try - for the fun of it!
Registration opens Monday March 9th.
Opening Day is Saturday, April 18th at 10am at the Clay County Rec Center in Hayesville.

I hope we will see you this year!
